The bay of Cafiero is situated between the beach of Inglesi and Castiglione. Small sandy area with pebbles polished by sea, suitable for who prefers tranquillity.

The beach of Inglesi is surrounded by the inlet of S. Alessandro, is small and made of fine sand and pebble, not very sunny. Reachable through a promenade path, in hill or a path at the back of the Olimpionica dock.

How to reach the beach

The beach of Inglesi is situated in the municipality of Ischia, loc. Sant'Alessandro, just a short walk from the port. It's reachable only on foot across a small path from the dock of Ischia Porto. Several bus lines stop in this area, like CD – CS – 1 – 2 – 3 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 15 – C12 – C13, being Ischia Porto the main terminal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Description

Lido d'Ischia is situated 150 m from the square, historical meeting place in Ischia Porto, in spite of a long erosion that has changed its aspect but not its charme. The beach consists of several parts from Ischia Porto and the Castle, 100 m long. Very popular, especially in summer and equipped: there are many bathing establishments and entertainment activities.
The sand is fine and easly to reach. Thanks to shallow floors and cliffs it's suitable for families, children and ederly persons.

How to reach the beach

The beach of Lido is situated in the municipality of Ischia, near the port. It's easly reachable by bus and car. The bus stop is 750 m and 8 minutes on foot. The route is covereb bylines CD – CS – 8 – C12 – C13 that stop in Piazza degli Eroi, famous meeting place for islanders. If you prefers to move by car, along the street ample public parkings at visitors disposal. The transit of cars, except motorcycles and public transport, is allowed from 6.00 to 10.00 and from 15.00 to 17.00.

The beach of Cartaromana is situated in the homonym bay.
The main feature is the charming view of the Castello Aragonese. It has fine sand and crystal sea. A floor rich in fauna and archeology.
The erosion has influenced, limiting the beach, but it's possible to enjoy the sun on the black rocks.
The characteristic of this beach is the warm bath, result of a natural thermalism.
Reachable on foot, following a path, or via sea by taxi boat from Ischia Ponte or Ischia Porto.

How to reach the beach

The beach of Cartaromana is situated in the municipality of Ischia. It's easly reachable from San Michele and the square above the bay, or from Ischia Ponte thanks to the famous taxi boat. The route is covered by lines 8 – C12 – C13, start point is Porto d'Ischia; the first bus stop is San Michele, while C12 - C13 stop near the square of Cartaromana, overlooking the bay. If you prefer to move by car, the only public parking (fee of charge) is at 20 minutes from the beach, about 1,3 km.
