Description
In 1922 Miss Josephine Morgera built and open a home for the elderly poor, Villa Joseph, next to which later also a church dedicated to St. Joseph church was built, in 1947, in the second parish of Casamicciola, recognized by the Italian Government on September 28, 1948. In 1955, after various vicissitudes, the title was transferred to the Parish Church of St. Antonio, at the Cemetery. On February 10, 1957, Miss Morgera makes donation for the entire complex of the Piccola Opera della Divina Provvidenza di D. Orione. In 1978 began the work and in 1981 was completed and opened the house for the elderly.
