About Cavascura spring
Cavascura is an hydro geological basin, where it’s possible to ‘see’ the past; dug into the rock, it didn’t change during the years but maintains its original settlement, with springs at the temperature of 90°.The spring is set 300 m from the beach of Maronti on a tuff stone on hill. It’s a thermal hall in open space, with flowery windows, luxuriant bushes, chestnut trees and oak, whose leaves pass from green to violet. Inside the caves, the hot waters gush naturally. In the shadow and relaxing space, patients have bath feeling themselves in contact with nature. There are few hot showers coming down the mountain like falls and natural sauna. In a cave rich in hot vapours, patients make old treatments of sauna, inhalations and showers deriving from the deep hydrothermal basin. Under the shower jet of thermal water you can resist only few minutes because of 70 and 80°. There are many beauty treatments with natural mud applications.
